Access and Inclusion Plan 2023-27

The Draft Access and Inclusion Plan 2023-2027 is now available for public comment. Please provide your feedback through the survey below by 4pm on Friday, 25 November 2022.

The Draft Plan has been developed in close consultation with the community. Thank you to the 90 people who completed the survey with special thanks to the members of the AIP Community Working Group, representing the Shire’s broader Community Access and Inclusion Reference Group (CAIRG).

What is Access and Inclusion?

Access
Access means that everyone can access and enjoy our facilities, including libraries, recreation and entertainment centres, parks and playgrounds, footpaths, parking, transport, toilets and change rooms.

Inclusion
Inclusion means that everyone feels like they belong, are welcomed and valued by the community, involved in social, sporting, and cultural events, and with equal opportunities for employment.
