Climate Action

On 28 May 2019, over 130 members of the Augusta Margaret River Community came together to start to prepare a plan for Climate Action.

The Climate Action Summit, was held in overlooking the picturesque ‘’Margaret River Mainbreak’ thanks to the generosity of Surfing WA and the World Surf League.

The Summit represented the culmination of a comprehensive pre-consultation process, to arrive at 11 priority projects which will be carried forward in order to attempt to mitigate our communities carbon pollution. A future summit will tackle the related issue of Climate Adaptation.
