Fencing will go up around the Margaret River Cultural Centre on Monday 30 April 2018 to prepare for the commencement of redevelopment works in early May.
BCG Construction was selected as the preferred tender for the project with the company to complete the upgrade in two stages.
Shire of Augusta Margaret River Corporate and Community Services Director Annie Riordan said the multipurpose function spaces and commercial kitchen would be completed by January 2019, followed by the main theatre and foyer area in June 2019.
