Consultation has concluded
The Shire of Augusta Margaret River, South West Development Commission and Curtin, hosted the second Food and Agricultural Summit on 15 August 2016 for growers and food producers of the Margaret River Region and immediate surrounds. Speakers included local, state, national and international industry experts, including key presenter Andrew Flaccavento.
Topics covered include sustainability, food security, trade, land planning, food tourism, organics and the role of authorities. This event will also appeal to key stakeholders of the local food sector.
The sell out day was a huge success with many seeds planted for future developments of food and agriculture sectors in the South West.
