The Shire is updating Local Planning Policy 13 – Mobile Food Business and wishes to have initial feedback from our list of registered mobile food vendors to help inform the changes.
Why changes?
- Extend exemptions for mobile food businesses operating on private properties in town centre, village centre and agriculture zones.
- Addition of new locations for operating on Shire reserves.
- Change to permit allocation process to help address issues such as permit sites not always being used, competition for high traffic sites and to provide greater variety to the public.
