Meet the Heritage Council - 19th February 2019

If you are interested in finding out more about Heritage in WA, come along to a free community workshop and hear direct from the Heritage Council, the State’s primary body for heritage. Anne Arnold, Chair of the Heritage Council, will be joined by heritage architect and Heritage Council member Phil Griffiths, and representatives from the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage. The group will present an update on the progression of the Heritage Act 2018, identify how communities are being asked to be part of this process, and give a general update on some of the heritage highlights around the State in 2019.

Following the presentation, the group will invite discussion on some of the matters raised and answer any of your heritage-related questions.

The presentation will be held at the Margaret River Council Chambers commencing 2.30 until 4.00pm on the 19th February 2019.

Places are limited, so please RSVP by 15 February at - info@stateheritage.wa.gov.au (Attention Brooke Hongell)
