The Shire of Augusta Margaret River has received a planning application for apartments/serviced apartments and café at 38 Fearn Avenue, Margaret River. The proposal includes:

• 1 x 20 seat café;
• 4 x one bedroom apartments with area for living-work arrangement for professionals;
• 4 x studio apartments;
• 6 x two bedroom apartments;
• Apartments/serviced apartments proposed as dual use (both short and long term accommodation);
• A 7 car bay shortfall - the applicant is seeking approval for reciprocal arrangements with the child care centre, the use of the public car parks and the provision of an active transport plan; and
• A Traffic Impact Statement has been provided by the applicant and is included.
