Strategic Community Plan - Trends Analysis Survey

The development of the next Strategic Community Plan requires understanding the community's vision and aspirations, as well as the Shire's capacity to deliver. It also needs to consider broader trends   that may impact the community, to help us predict and plan for the changing environment and guide us closer to the community's aspiration.

Involving your team could be a great way to cement a shared understanding of the importance of your work and the upcoming challenges and opportunities you envision.

The deadline for your response is Tuesday 24 December! Merry Christmas!

Usability of the SCP

Every four years we get the chance to review our Strategic Community Plan. This plan should:

  • Clearly show the community's aspirations and priorities
  • Communicate the whole organisation's strategic focus
  • Help staff understand how their work links to the vision and strategic direction
  • Understand the broader context – e.g. demographic projections, challenges and opportunities, government priorities, etc.
  • Show how progress and performance will be measured, monitored, and reported
