We are constructing a new shared path along Tingle Avenue in Margaret River!

This pathway project has been organised by the Shire of Augusta Margaret River and jointly funded by the State Government as a part of the WA Bike Network Grants Program.

This area was identified as a gap in our path network in the Shire's 2016 Pathway Plan.

A copy of the path design can be viewed here. Contractors will be installing the path in the road reserve. Works are scheduled for early December aiming for completion by 2026.

As part of this project, a Tingle Avenue school holiday Art Workshop was hosted with local artist, Fi Wilkie on October 1st, 2025. School-aged children and their caregivers took part in a hands-on workshop to design a public artwork for a utility cabinet near Tingle Avenue. See photographs of the session in the photo gallery.
