The Shire is updating Local Planning Policy 13 – Mobile Food Business and wishes to have initial feedback from our list of registered mobile food vendors to help inform the changes.

Why changes?

  1. Extend exemptions for mobile food businesses operating on private properties in town centre, village centre and agriculture zones.
  2. Addition of new locations for operating on Shire reserves.
  3. Change to permit allocation process to help address issues such as permit sites not always being used, competition for high traffic sites and to provide greater variety to the public.
