The Shire aims to promote and strengthen community based youth activities, in order to offer youth in the community the ability to take part in different workshops which expand their skills and interests as well as strengthen the relationship between youth, community and the Shire.

    Drug Aware Live Urban Art Competition

    Showcase your artistic talent at the Drug Aware Chillout Zone of the Margaret River Pro!

    Drug Aware along with Surfing WA are screening the Margaret River Pro live at Reuther Park for the duration of the competition.

    On Sunday the 15th April, Drug Aware and the Shire of Murray are hosting a Live Urban Art competition giving 4 local artists the opportunity to create an art piece live in front of locals and win the chance to create a permanent piece on the Margaret River Youth Precinct Zone Room!

    On Saturday 22 September 2018, Propel Youth Arts WA invites you to join us in documenting 24 hours of life in Western Australia directly through your eyes!

    Every year, hundreds of people across WA simultaneously step behind their cameras to capture and submit an image from their day to Mosaic, a community-driven photography project and exhibition. We're asking anyone and everyone in WA to set aside a couple of minutes on Saturday 22 September, to capture part of their day on camera.

    YAC Leaderhip Camp EOI

    We are proud to present this unique opportunity for young aspiring leaders, aged 12 to 18, in the lower southwest area! There are limited spaces available, so please complete the questions in this application form to secure your spot!

    The camp is an integral part of youth development in the south west region and is designed to allow local youth to grow and learn in a supported and safe environment. The focus of the three day camp is “resilience” and “leadership”. It has been designed to inspire and support participants through experiences that will challenge them and help

    We are proud to present this unique opportunity for young aspiring leaders, aged 12 to 18, in the lower southwest area! There are limited spaces available, so please complete the questions in this application form to secure your spot!

You’ll make loads of new friends and experience our great outdoors in a whole new way!

    The camp is being facilitated by Zero2Hero at Camp Mornington, a not-for-profit camp run by The Federation of WA Police and Community Youth Centres (PCYC).
