Consultation has concluded

The Shire has received a scheme amendment which will allow for rural residential development of Lot 2 Fisher Road, Kudardup. The scheme amendment will change the zoning of the property to Rural Residential, which will enable the subdivision of the site into 1ha lots. The proposal also includes designation of public open space surrounding the watercourse located on site.

The property has been earmarked for urban development since 2010 through the Kudardup Settlement Strategy, however the size of the lots has been increased as a result of changes to effluent disposal requirements in this area. A concept plan has been prepared which shows the creation of 50 lots, however this is only indicative with the eventual lot layout and road placement determined through the subdivision process.
