The Witchcliffe Streetscape Plan will set the long-term direction for future development within the main street, Redgate Road and surrounding open space in Witchcliffe, taking into account the outcomes of the Witchcliffe Character Study.
The Shire is now asking for community feedback on the revised Witchcliffe Streetscape Plan. The plan has been revised since community feedback was gathered in 2023. Your input will help refine the final plans and ensure they reflect the needs and values of the Witchcliffe community.
Community members are invited to drop-in and chat to staff at one of two community information sessions, or provide feedback online to help shape the future vision and planning for Witchcliffe.

The Shire received 86 submissions from community members.

The following community concerns were identified through the consultation
• Over formalisation of the main street
• Too many crossing points
• Widening and formalisation of laneways
• Loss of parking along the main street
We have since revised the Streetscape Plan to incorporate feedback received.
• Consolidating pedestrian crossing points to a central location on the main street.
• Bus stop to be relocated in consultation with PTA.
• Maintaining widths of laneways and making them one way.
• Widening only proposed behind 10412 Bussell Highway and 10406 Bussell Highway, using commercial properties.
• Creation of additional parking areas surrounding the Redgate Road heritage precinct.
• Minimising interventions into the main street to maintain established character.
