The Strategic Community Plan 2040 was endorsed by Council on Wednesday 22 September 2021.

Background

The Shire has completed a major review of its long term strategic focus. The Shire is required to do this every four years, which was previously completed in 2016 with “Your Vision 2036”. A review of the document started in September 2021 and included:

  • A community survey from October to February 2021, online and in hardcopy with more than 900 pieces of feedback received.
  • Six place workshops held across the Shire in November 2020, view the workshop records here.
  • Three place workshops held in specific places in May 2021.
  • The Family Dinner Project over May 2021, and
  • Other focused engagement
